Creature of the Night Dark Lord will beckonCreature of the Night by ~BunniePrower
with a menacing loom.
Shapeless as the night
in the grey-streaking gloom.
Stalking in the alleys
and lissome as a snake.
Dancing in the moonlight
through sheets of opaque.
Master of the shadows
and almost never seen.
Always mocking from afar;
silver eyes with a gleam.
A sound is heard abreast;
howls from a fiend.
All audacity abandons.
The feline is demeaned.

Rocking,
Time is stalking.
The old lady babbles,
words of sleep-talking.
As she is sleeping,
silence is creeping.
Clock chimes the time,
cries out in weeping.
Pain surrounds all,
seeping through walls.
The woman heeds not,
and endlessly stalls.
But the chains creak,
future's bleak,
life's meek.
The old lady feels her world growing weak.
The clock again chimes.
it's her time.
crimson crime.
The pendulum stills.
her dream spills.
the scream, shrill.
The old lady strokes,
she chokes,
and croaks,

and blanketed shores in dusky shrouds.
All was silent that desolate night,
but come one quiver of visible light.
Over the waves of blue and green,
came something radiant in the marine.
Violent were the fluttering sails,
that billowed in the ceasing gales.
Men and women on the shore,
could see this wonder gradually more.
Creaking boards were loudly made,
by skeletal pirates ready to raid.
Stuck in the middle of death and life,
searching the seas for a worthy strife.
Toiling without a bit of respite,
it's The Phantom Ship of Starlight.
